Each SystemStar estimate can have any number of components organized into a hierarchy. One component is always distinguished as the current component. The toolbar provides buttons to create and delete components, and buttons to navigate the hierarchy.

New Component -- Create a new component as a sibling of the current component

New Subcomponent -- Create a new component as a subcomponent of the current component

Delete Component -- Delete the current component

Go to Parent -- Make the parent component the current component

Go to Subcomponent -- Make the first subcomponent the current component

Go to Previous Component -- Make the previous component the current component

Go to Next Component -- Make the next component the current component

Display Component List -- Display a list of all components in the current estimate. You can use the list to select a new current component

Display Component Tree View -- Display a hierarchical list of all components in the current estimate. You can use the list to select a new current component
